Mattu Sam

She was 4 years old when her father drowned at sea. Her mother could not take care of her so she sent her to her aunt. When she was 10, she would work on a farm alone. At night she would go to clubs. On the way home from a club one night when she was 12, she was raped. She was also beaten by her aunt and had very little food or clothes. She said she started attending church, but her grandmother was a witch and would get very angry with her if she went to church. Pastor Francis heard her story and her grandmother eventually let her come live in the home.
