Gabriel Yamba

Gabriel lost his parents in the war to the rebels. He has 3 siblings. They took care of themselves and many times did not have food, clothes or a place to sleep. There were other family members (aunts and uncles) in the village but they rejected them. He said life was very difficult and he was very discouraged. He decided to commit suicide but Uncle Johnny (now the house father) encouraged him to have hope. Since moving into the home and becoming a Christian he now has hopes and dreams. He hopes to be an electrical engineer and wants to help others the way Jesus has helped him.
